The Assisted family of companies is proud to announce its 2nd Giggles 4 Wiggles (formerly, PET-TNI) event to benefit Assisted Home Health & Hospice Foundation. Giggles 4 Wiggles supports the “Hands to Cuddle, Paws to Love” Foundation focus program. Giggles 4 Wiggles will be held on March 20, 2019 from 5:30pm-9 pm at Levity Live in Oxnard, California and includes, appetizers, a stand-up comedy show, silent auction, and special pet guests!
Proceeds from Giggles 4 Wiggles will support “Hands to Cuddle, Paws to Love” a program focused on making sure that every pet need a family has is covered so they can remain together. Needs range from grooming, companionship, walking, feeding, veterinarian care, and placement. The Foundation partners with local veterinarians, groomers, food vendors and volunteer agencies to fill their needs.
To qualify for “Hands to Cuddle, Paws to Love,” one must be on a home health or hospice agency, own a pet, and have an identifiable hardship that prohibits them from keeping their pet. Examples include, but, are not limited to, lack of funding for food/veterinary care, lack of mobility due to a joint replacement that prohibits them from walking or caring for a pet, or overall general health issues that don’t allow them the strength to clean a bird cage or change a litter box.
Assisted Home Hospice Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 2005 to provide underserved residents of Southern California and Arizona with access to home health or hospice services, as well as, advanced educational training to affiliated healthcare providers.
