My husband received home health care services from Sharon and David this year following a hospital stay. I wanted to write you and tell you how happy we were to have their help. Sharon treated my husband with professional skill and humor. He needed both. He also had a bad fall in our bathroom and injured his head and arm When I called your office you had Sharon call me back immediately. I had to call 911 for the paramedics. After he was discharged from the ER she was here each day for three days after his fall. It was a comfort to me to have her checking on him and for me to know that I was caring for him correctly.
We had experience with a different home health care agency 8 years ago and were not very impressed. Neither of us was happy with the nurse they sent and decided to decline her services.
David, who my husband had worked with in the past, contacted us and said Assisted had agreed to care for him. He told us that we would have to have a nurse come at least for a new evaluation and sent Sharon. We were both so impressed with her and agreed to have her return. We were sorry to see her go when she decided he did not need her any longer.
David worked with my husband a while longer. He never gave up on him and did manage to help my husband improve his strength.
My husband is doing better now. He is keeping up the exercise program David gave him and following the suggestions Sharon gave him. We have managed to go out to lunch a few times. It had been months since we had been anywhere but medical appointments. I don’t think we would have seen any improvement without the help of Sharon and David. Thank you for sending them to us.
