Blossom Painting with Recycled Bottles

Blossom Painting With Recycled Bottles

What you’ll need:
Empty 16 oz plastic soda bottles
Colored paint
Paper plates
Construction paper or tree template

 

  1. Pour paint colors of your choice onto the center of disposable paper plates.
  2. Dip the bottom of the soda bottles into the paint and stamp onto your paper to make 5 pointed flower blossoms.
  3. Continue stamping until your tree is full of beautiful colored blossoms!

 

Easy Felt Flowers

Project 1

Easy Felt Flowers

You will need:
(2-3) Pieces of colored felt of your choice
(1) Button with shank
(1) Pipe Cleaner
Straight Pins (optional)
Scissors

 

  1. Using the flower template provided, print and cut out the flowers of your choice to use as your pattern (light cardboard or cardstock works best).

    TIP: Choose 2 different flower shapes or sizes to give a 3D effect.

  2. Pin the patterns to your chosen felt colors and cut out your flowers.
  3. Layer your flower pieces together to make the desired flower shape.
  4. Using scissors, cut a small hole the size of the shank in the center of each flower piece and slip the button shank through.
  5. Thread the pipe cleaner into the shank from the backside of the felt and twist to secure.

Make as many flowers as you’d like or even a bouquet for that special someone!

 

Felt Bunny Coasters

Project 1

Felt Bunny Coasters

You will need:
(2-3) Pieces of colored felt of your choice
(1) ¼”- ½” craft pom-pom
Hot Glue Gun (or white school glue)
Scissors

 

  1. Using the template provided, print and cut out the two square pieces and bunny shape (light cardboard or cardstock work best).

    TIP: Use pinking shears for the smaller square to add a fun scalloped edge!

  2. Layer your pieces together with the largest square on the bottom, then the smaller square and place the bunny on top.
  3. Using the hot glue gun, carefully line the underside of the smaller square and bunny and assemble into place.
  4. Place a small bead of glue on the pom-pom and push into place for the bunnies tail.
